Don't be misled by your experience as a tourist, where everyone tries to speak your language. You were a customer then. When people around the world are customers, they want to read content, browse and shop in their native language, even if they speak excellent English. Calling them to action with 'Buy now!' and 'Click here!' can feel pushy and off-putting in some cultures, and those variations in tone of voice can make or break your international expansion.
